Landscape Choreography is a Milan-based organization founded in 2014. We operate at the intersection of cultural production, strategic design, and social transformation. Our work spans visual and performing arts, ecology, pedagogy, and digital autonomy. We support long-term, ecosystemic artistic processes, with a focus on their social and political impact. We also run KINlab, a intradisciplinary lab in the San Siro district of Milan that generates unexpected relationships to multiply regenerative presents.

environmental activism

Our idea of artistic and cultural production is in service of the struggles for climate justice. We also believe that artistic expression is a space for imagining new worlds, based on a non-colonial and non-extractive relationship between humanity and nature. We design projects where art and academic research support eco-activism.

Radical education

Culture is a space for sharing knowledge and caring for its biodiversity. When we design a program or an artistic process, we see it as an opportunity to learn what we don’t yet know. We also believe that childhood—and children—are wise teachers, as they are the beings most attuned to curiosity and love for what is different.

Digital AUtonomy

We specialize in designing open-source digital tools, including Web3 technologies, applied to cultural production and cooperative artistic environments. We work on circular and mutualist economies, and decentralized governance systems. We promote a culture of critical awareness around automation processes.

How we do it

  1. The landscape is already a choreography.
 Bodies move through space by following visible and invisible rules: social norms, economic systems, political borders, institutional powers. Some movements are allowed, others are forbidden. Intervening in these dynamics is both an artistic and political act.


  2. Our approach is rooted in interdisciplinarity, aiming to move beyond self-referential artistic production and create spaces where art, activism, and research can cooperate within real processes of social, political, and ecological transformation.


  3. We are a situated interdisciplinary platform. 
We work in territories where present urgencies and potentialities emerge, with long-term timelines and complex alliances. We use art to strengthen social struggles, support processes of change, and design alternative cultural Infrastructure.


  4. We build enabling Infrastructure and tools for collective action.
We connect diverse skills and knowledge - performing arts, philosophy, sociology, medicine, agriculture, critical technology, urbanism - to build platforms that respond to needs overlooked by institutional systems. We stand with those without power, but we know how to negotiate and open breaches in existing structures. 

  5. We are rooted and mobile.
 Our path began in Milan, in the working-class neighborhood of San Siro, where we launched locally grounded cultural projects and opened KINlab which is now a lab, home to various independent initiatives. At the same time, we build international networks, take part in European projects, and coordinate transnational cultural consortia and platforms.
